About
Allison McCleveland, aka “Allie Mac”, is an expressive visual artist who creates unique and dynamic works of art that she desires to inspire hope and love. She has a strong connection with the arts being raised by an artist and art teacher. Art is how she bonds with her mother, and now with her own children. She first fell in love with drawing charcoal portraits, because of how people connected with her realistic pieces. Now she uses charcoal drawing in the beginning stage of her process, but then adds layers of mixed media materials on top. Her current favorite being the last thick impasto paint texture to add colorful expression, and evoke emotion.
All available original paintings that are currently for sale are listed and can be purchased and shipped through AllieMacArt.com. She is currently taking commissions on a limited basis.

“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” -Audrey Hepburn
Statement from the artist:
“This is why I create… There is something inside of us that is longing to be, understood and embraced. In my attempt to connect abstraction and realism, I want to stir emotions of love, hope, and peace that comes from the relationships we cherish, (whether it’s with a person, place, or even a pet,) with the beauty of fleeting moments through abstraction that evoke strong emotion. Creating that memory, that feeling, we want to hold onto.”
